As of May 2017, Sebastian Ahrens is the Managing director of the VivaNeo Group. As Chair of the Executive Board he is responsible for the department of Marketing/Communications, Human Resources, as well as the Business Development of the Group.
Mr. Ahrens studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge in England and finished his Master of Public Administrations (MPA) at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in the United States of America.
Before Ahrens joined the Board of the VivaNeo Group, he was, amongst others, 10 years long the Spokesman of the Board of Hapag-Looyd Cruises and 12 years long consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Through long-term experience in the field of healthcare management and specialized expertise in the department of reproduction medicine, the VivaNeo management embody and ensure the highest medical quality of the Group.

Dr. Mayer has been a managing director of VivaNeo AG since 2013. He is responsible for all operational processes as well as for ensuring excellence of the individual centres and of the whole group. Dr. Mayer holds a doctorate in medicine and has several years of clinical and scientific experience in the field of cardiology at the University Hospital of Heidelberg. Before he became the head of the VivaNeo group, he worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, Inc. for 5 years, where he worked exclusively on projects in the health care sector.

Dr. Jens Wiese has been a managing director of VivaNeo AG since November 2014. His focus is on managing the group’s finances.
Dr. Wiese holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Münster (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster) and studied in Stuttgart-Hohenheim and Aarhus (DK).
Before joining the VivaNeo management team, he was at Alliance Healthcare Deutschland AG for 6 years – most recently as Finance Director. Prior to that, he worked at Tchibo GmbH, where his portfolio included business planning, and McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he was a consultant.
